HOW TO GET TO ZAGREB?
PLANE - you will arrive to new Zagreb airport which is located 30 km from downtown Zagreb. You can take a taxi or cheaper Croatia airlines bus that takes you to the Central bus station in Zagreb. The bus leaves every 30 min in front of the terminal at the airport (TIMETABLE). After 8pm bus follows airport timetable. You may purchase a ticket at the bus driver (price: 30 kuna, approx. €4).
TRAIN - you will arrive at the central railway station in zagreb. take the tram no. 6 (towards crnomerec) or no. 13 (towards rg bana Jelacica) & exit at the 2nd station (Trg bana Jelacica - main square).
SUMMER SCHOOL LOCATION:

Ballet course is held in new dance studios of Academy of Theatrical arts.
It`s one tram station from the main city square and two tram stations from hostel. Trams number 12, 13, 14 and 17 go from Main square.
From hostel trams 12 and 14 will take you to Frankopanska street .
Those staying in hostel will be guided to studios on the first day.

ACCOMMODATION
The majority of our students are staying in hostel "Bureau" (Vlaška street 40).
It is just a short walk from the Main square.
Rooms will be shared between two to six people. Hostel has air-conditioned rooms, wireless internet, and wardrobes with key.
Linen and towels are provided.
Arrival is on July 15th and departure is on July 29th. For those leaving after week 1 departure is on 22nd. You may enter the rooms after 3pm.
Breakfast and lunch are served in hostel. There is also a kitchen which you may use.

GETTING AROUND
Zagreb is an easy city to explore because of its efficient system of trams and busses. .
There are several types of travel tickets:
30-min ticket costs 4 kunas
1 hour ticket costs 7 kunas
1.5-hour ticket costs 10 kunas.
These prices are valid only if you buy tickets at newsstand!!! When purchased from driver it will cost you 15 kunas (approx. 2 euros)
Tickets must be validated when entering the tram. You can validate your ticket at the first or last ticket reader on the tram, the middle ones don't have the ability to validate single tickets.
DRESS CODE
There is no specific dress code, but teachers should be able to see your body.
Make sure to bring: enough leotards, ballet shoes, point shoes, tights
Shoes for character dances are not required.

PLITVICE LAKES Tour
On Sunday, July 22nd , we organize a full day tour to Plitvice lakes. Only 2 hours drive from Zagreb you will find yourself in this natural wonder, hiking around both the lower and the upper lakes, and taking a ride in the electric boat.
Price is approx. €55 (€70 for adults), payable in Croatian money.
The price includes: bus transportation, ticket to National park and a guide. Food and drinks are not included in the price.
Please take comfortable walking shoes, food and water.
